Giacomo Malipiero

Giacomo Malipiero is an accomplished senior sales manager with extensive experience in the sports and lifestyle sectors. Currently serving as the SMITH Senior Sales Manager for EMEA & Emerging Markets at Safilo since May 2017, Giacomo oversees the development of wholesale business for sunglasses, snow helmets, and bicycle accessories, focusing on the Smith, Carrera, and Polaroid brands. Prior to Safilo, Giacomo spent nearly a decade at Diesel, where roles included Sales Distributors Manager for EMEA Sport & Lifestyle and Sales Area Manager for Latin America. Educational qualifications include a degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia. Giacomo has also competed as a professional rugby player and gained early experience in brand management through an internship at Met Jeans.
