Scott MacGuffie

Scott MacGuffie is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in distribution, logistics, and operations management. Currently serving as the Senior Global Director of Distribution and Logistics at Safilo since June 2016, MacGuffie leads initiatives to enhance operational excellence through lean practices and continuous improvement. Prior to this role, MacGuffie held several key positions at Smith Sport Optics from 1996 to 2016, including Vice President of Operations, where responsibilities included managing a global sport product supply with significant annual revenues, overseeing manufacturing, distribution, logistics, demand planning, and supply chain functions. MacGuffie also demonstrated expertise in inventory management and supplier development, achieving notable cost savings and operational efficiencies. Educationally, MacGuffie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Saint Lawrence University, earned in 1989.
