Simone Carli

Simone Carli has over 17 years of work experience in the eyewear industry. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Lean Specialist at Safilo for four years. From 2007 to 2009, they held the position of Quality Plant Manager and Production Manager Assistant at Luxottica. Simone then returned to Safilo in 2010, where they worked as a Production Manager, Plant Manager, and Product Launch Enhancement Project Director. In 2015, they took on the role of Global Process Engineering Operations Director, and in 2018, they became the Product Engineering and Corporate Quality Senior Director at Safilo.

Simone Carli obtained a Master's degree in Lean Manufacturing from Università degli Studi di Trieste in 2010. Prior to that, Simone studied Economics at Università degli Studi di Udine, although the exact start and end dates for this education are unavailable.
