Joel

Joel is currently the Sales Cameroun at Safir Consulting. Prior to that, they were with Marvel Entertainment from October 2003 to December 2009 where they served as the Chief Audit Executive. Joel was responsible for designing audit and compliance processes and instituting financial practices and controls across film, Internet, publishing, licensing and manufacturing business units. Joel reported directly to the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors.

From February 1998 to October 2000, Joel was with BMG Entertainment as the VP Controller. Joel was recruited to reorganize staff, accounting/reporting processes, inventory management and internal controls. Joel partnered finance with operations to enhance profitability. Joel also worked with CFO and CEO on strategic planning and key financial matters to enhance profitability and competition position. Joel led a staff of 25.

From January 1996 to December 1998, Joel served as the Controller for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

From March 1986 to September 1996, Joel was the Controller for Lebhar-Friedman.

From January 2010 to May 2011, Joel worked as an Independent Financial Consultant for JMS Consultative Services.

From January 2000 to December 2002, Joel was the VP Finance for ACTV, Inc.

Joel has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the NYU Stern School of Business.
