Alex Hawes

Alex Hawes is a skilled hand embroiderer with extensive experience in creating bespoke embroideries for high-profile clients and notable fashion houses. Currently working at Tamara Ralph, Alex contributes to the Spring Summer 24 collection while also being involved with Safiyaa and Mary Katrantzou on couture pieces, including costumes for Beyoncé's Renaissance Tour. Previous roles include assisting with costumes at the Orange Tree Theatre and completing embroidery for collections showcased at London Fashion Week with Ashish and E. Tautz. Alex's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Hand Embroidery for Fashion and Interiors from the Royal School of Needlework.
