Wayne Pitt has over 25 years of experience in the battery industry, currently serving as the Product and Regulatory Manager for the Connected Energy Division at Saft since May 1998, where responsibilities include lithium-ion product management and regulatory compliance. Prior roles at Saft include Business Development Manager, Product Manager, Marketing Manager, and Commercial Manager, with a focus on commercially developing advanced lithium-ion battery technologies in global markets. Prior to Saft, Wayne held positions as Export Manager and National Sales Manager at Century Yuasa Batteries and Projects Manager at Queensland Electricity Commission. Wayne's educational background includes an MBA in International Business and e-Business from Western Sydney University, a Diploma of Industrial Electronics from TAFE NSW, and an Electrical Trade qualification from TAFE Queensland.
