Yu-Jie Zhang

Yu-Jie ZHANG is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and system engineering across various organizations. Currently serving as ESS APAC Project Manager and Deputy Technical Leader at Saft since May 2022, Yu-Jie supports energy storage system deliveries in the APAC region. Prior roles at Thales included System Engineer II and Associate System Engineer, where achievements included securing project payments and establishing signaling design baselines. Yu-Jie also contributed as a Research Assistant at The Chinese University of Hong Kong’s Microwave Lab, developing sensing systems and IoT devices. Early career experience includes liaison activities at Sina Com Technology and IT support at the State Grid Corporation of China. Yu-Jie holds a Master of Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor's degree from Changsha University of Science and Technology.
