Alexis Carter-Black

Alexis Carter-Black is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in development and fundraising within non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Grants and Advancement at Saga Education since February 2022, Alexis actively cultivates long-term relationships with donors and key stakeholders while enhancing the grant life cycle. Previous roles include Development Director at PL+US, where a new development department was successfully established, and Director of Development & State Community Relations at Noble Research Institute, overseeing the creation of the inaugural Development Department. Other notable positions held include Director of Philanthropy at The Samuel Roberts Noble Foundation, Development Manager at Health Care Without Harm, and Grant Manager at the American Heart Association. Alexis holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma.
