Deanna Bartold

DeAnna Bartold has extensive work experience in the education sector. DeAnna most recently served as the Director of District Partnerships at Saga Education, where they maintained and expanded partnerships with school districts nationwide. DeAnna collaborated with clients to implement tutoring programs and led professional development initiatives. Prior to this role, they were a Site Director at Saga Education.

DeAnna also worked as a Distinguished Teacher Reviewer at the Noble Network of Charter Schools and as a Private Spanish Tutor. DeAnna has experience in curriculum writing at Achievement First and has held various teaching roles, including Yoga Teacher, 10th Grade Level Chair, AP World History Teacher, and Spanish Teacher & Instructional Coach at Achievement First East Brooklyn High School. Additionally, they served as the Spanish Department Chair, Instructional Coach, and High School Spanish Teacher at Achievement First Amistad High School.

Further, DeAnna worked as an Instructional Coach for Teach For America Build the Bench Initiative and Teach For America. DeAnna also taught Spanish at Detroit Public Schools and Detroit Midtown Academy. Overall, their work experience demonstrates their expertise in education, curriculum development, program implementation, and instructional coaching.

DeAnna Bartold holds a Master's Degree in Urban Pedagogy from the University of Michigan, which they obtained from 2012 to 2013. DeAnna also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in History from Wayne State University, which they completed from 2006 to 2010. In addition, they have a Yoga Instructor Certification - Level I from Breathe For Change, obtained in 2018.
