Yasutaka Fujii

Yasutaka Fujii is an experienced academic and museum professional, currently serving as a museum officer at Saga University since January 2023 and as an associate professor since April 2021. Previously, Fujii held positions as a part-time lecturer at Gifu Shotoku Gakuen University and as a museum curator at Nagoya City Museum, specializing in archaeology related to Asia and Japan, in addition to roles in museum education and public relations. Notable international experience includes a residency at Nanjing University as part of a study program for curators. Fujii has also contributed to the preservation of cultural property for the Government of Nagoya city and worked on archaeological excavations at the Nagoya City Miharashidai Site. Academic credentials include a PhD in archaeology from Waseda University, an MA in History from Ritsumeikan University, and a BA in Chinese Literature from Waseda University.
