Joe Grabowski

Technical Art Director at Saganworks

Joe Grabowski has over 13 years of experience in the game industry. Joe began their career in 2007 as a student at the Savannah College of Art and Design. In 2008, they worked as an IT assistant at Fahey Bank. From 2010 to 2011, they were a Lead Artist at Infinitap Games, where they were responsible for producing assets and animations for PC, Ouya, and PS4 games. From 2011 to 2015, they worked at Strength in Numbers Game Studios as an Environment/Prop Artist, designing and building levels for the game. In 2016, they worked as a Texture Artist/Game Engine Advisor at Wildlife, creating textures for the Toyota Fantasy Football Hall of Fame VR experience. Joe also worked as an Art Director and Senior/Lead 3D Artist at PIXO VR from 2016 to 2018, overseeing other artists and providing feedback in order to achieve a cohesive look and high visual fidelity. From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Freelance Real-Time Specialist at Wildlife, utilizing Unreal Engine, Unity, and Standalone WebGL engines. In 2020, they began working as a Technical Art Director and Senior Technical Artist at Saganworks, where they are responsible for creating and optimizing art asset production pipelines for real-time environments. Joe is also currently working as a Creative Director at CultureVerse.

Joe Grabowski attended Henry Ford College from 2006 to 2007 and then went on to earn their B.F.A. in Interactive Design and Game Development from Savannah College of Art and Design from 2007 to 2010.
