Shri V. H. Ramakrishnan holds a B.Sc. degree from the University of Madras, and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
He gained extensive experience spanning over 35 years in both domestic and international banking during his tenure with Bank of India, where he headed various departments such as International Operations, Comptrollers Department, Treasury and Subsidiaries. From 1992 to 1996, he was the Zonal Manager of the Northern Zone, which got awarded the ‘Best Zone in India’.
He also assumed the roles of Whole-time Director and Chief Executive of BOI Finance Ltd. He was a member of different committees constituted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). At present, he is the Independent Director of Sagar Cements Limited.
