Nathan Franklin

Nathan Franklin is a Senior System Engineer at SAGE Automation, a position held since January 2019. Prior to this, Nathan worked as a Senior Control Systems Engineer at BHP Billiton from January 2008 to January 2019, managing control systems at the Kambalda Nickel Concentrator and later the Kalgoorlie Nickel Smelter. Earlier experience includes serving as a Control Systems Engineer at Encore Automation Pty Ltd from January 2001 to January 2008, focusing on PLC/SCADA coding and electrical installations. Nathan's career began as an Electrical Technician at Northern Goldfields Health Services from April 1994 to January 2001, following the completion of an electrical apprenticeship. Nathan holds an Advanced Diploma in Industrial Automation from the Engineering Institute of Technology (2012-2014) and a Certificate 4 in Electrical Trade Studies from Curtin University (1995-1997).
