Rhys Butler

Rhys Butler is an experienced Senior Automation Technician at SAGE Automation, having progressed through various roles since June 2019, including Automation Technician and Control System Support Technician. Prior to this, Rhys served as an Electrical Control Engineer at Mars from December 2015 to August 2018, and worked as an Instrument Technician at KSJV, where responsibilities included commissioning and start-up for the APLNG project. Additional experience includes roles at Kentech Group as an Electrician/Instrument Technician, and at Brimar Electrical Services and Bradken, where Rhys contributed to the maintenance and operation of industrial electrical systems. Rhys also held positions at RBD Contracting and Cement Australia, focusing on project planning and equipment maintenance respectively, and began a career in electrical and instrumentation work at Silcar. Educational background includes attendance at Marist Regional College.
