Ann Kim Novakowski

Ann Kim Novakowski is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in governance innovation and program management within the biomedical field. Currently serving as Associate Director of Governance Innovation at Sage Bionetworks, Ann leads data sharing efforts and governance activities while collaborating closely with the Governance VP/DPO to advance research communities. Previous roles include Senior Program Manager for Research Governance & Ethics at Sage Bionetworks, Program Manager at Providence St. Joseph Health during a merger, and Associate Program Director at The Max Foundation, where Ann developed global access programs for cancer treatment. Ann's background also features significant contributions to nonprofit initiatives and public health, including strategic planning for refugee services and monitoring evaluation projects that achieved national recognition. Ann holds a Master of Public Health in Health Policy & Administration from Yale University and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular & Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona.
