Ashley Clayton has a diverse work experience. Ashley is currently working at Sage Bionetworks as a Senior Project Manager since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Fred Hutch as a Project Manager from December 2014 to March 2020. Before their role at Fred Hutch, Ashley worked at BC Cancer Agency as a Research Assistant from September 2014 to November 2014. Ashley also worked there as a Graduate Student from September 2011 to August 2014, focusing on the regulation of TLR4 signaling in endothelial cells. Ashley began their career at the University of Guelph as a Laboratory Research Assistant from May 2010 to May 2011. Ashley also worked as a Sales Associate at Sears Canada from July 2007 to June 2010. Additionally, Ashley served as an Undergraduate Summer Research Assistant at the University of Guelph in May 2009.

Ashley Clayton completed their Master of Science (MS) in Experimental Medicine from The University of British Columbia from 2011 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Guelph between 2006 and 2010. In addition to their degrees, Ashley also holds a Certificate in Biotechnology Project Management, which they earned from the University of Washington in June 2018.
