Celia Valverde

Celia Valverde is a Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as a Board Certified Veterinary Surgeon at SAGE Veterinary Centers since March 2019 and as a Board Certified Small Animal Surgeon at All Creatures Specialty Surgery since March 2017, Celia provides locum small animal surgery coverage, remote consultations, and continuing education. Previous roles include a tenure at VCA from 2003 to March 2017 and positions at the University of California - Davis as well as the University of Pretoria - Veterinary School. Celia Valverde holds advanced education credentials, including the CVMA Don Low Fellowship in Anesthesia and Pain Management from the University of California, Davis, and a Diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in Small Animal Surgery from the same institution. The veterinary education was completed at the USP - Universidade de São Paulo, earning a DVM in Veterinary Medicine.
