Michael Levenson, VMD has extensive work experience in the veterinary field. Michael currently serves as the Medical Director and Emergency Veterinarian at SAGE Veterinary Centers since March 2022. Prior to that, they were the Vice President of Veterinary Research and Development at NaNotics, LLC starting in January 2020.

From July 2017 to February 2022, Levenson worked as an Emergency Veterinarian and Senior Veterinary Associate in Surgery at the Pet Emergency and Specialty Center of Marin. Before that, they gained experience as a Surgical Intern at Friendship Hospital for Animals from June 2016 to June 2017 and as a Rotating Intern in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery from June 2015 to June 2016.

Levenson's earlier roles include serving as a Clinical Trial Liaison at the Mason Osteosarcoma Clinical Trial, Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and as an Operating Room Technician at both the Matthew J. Ryan Veterinary Veterinary Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment and Specialties.

Michael Levenson, VMD completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology at Boston College from 2011 to 2015. Concurrently, they pursued their Veterinary Medicine degree (V.M.D.) at the University of Pennsylvania from 2011 to 2015.
