Erin Tordsen has a diverse work history in the field of senior care and support. Erin started their career in 2007 as a Child Care Staff at Prime Time Athletic Club, where they provided care for infants and children. In 2011, they interned at Cal Poly SLO, conducting research on feeding practices in a disadvantaged population.

In 2011, Erin also interned at CAPSLO Adult Day Center, where they worked with seniors diagnosed with dementia and related disorders. Erin assisted clients with basic needs and supported staff with activities.

Erin continued their education and interned at Cal Poly SLO again in 2012, tutoring a student-athlete in psychology.

From 2013 to 2014, Erin worked as an Intern at SF Long Term Care Ombudsman, investigating complaints and improving the quality of life for residents in long-term care facilities.

In 2014, Erin joined Reliable Caregivers, Inc. as a Staffing Coordinator, responsible for managing staffing and providing assessments and intakes for clients. In 2016, they were promoted to Client Care Manager, overseeing the care and satisfaction of Reliable clients.

Most recently, Erin has been working at Sage Eldercare Solutions since 2017. Erin started as a Home Care Manager and then advanced to the role of Home Care Manager, Supervisor in 2018. As the Director of Home Care Supervision, they ensure that home care services meet individual client needs and maintain quality standards. Erin is involved in various aspects of home care, including employee screening, documentation review, supervision of PCA Managers, and team training. Erin also serves as a liaison with care management and Hummingbird teams.

Erin Tordsen holds a Master of Arts degree in Gerontology, which they obtained from San Francisco State University between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 2008 to 2012. Erin's high school education was completed at Capuchino High School, although specific dates were not provided. In addition to their academic achievements, Erin obtained a certification in Residential Care Facility for the Elderly from the California Department of Social Services, CCL in December 2012.
