Simon Brown

Simon Brown is an experienced internal audit professional currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Worthing Homes since October 2022 and as the Head of Internal Audit & Risk at Sage Homes since October 2019. Prior to these roles, Simon held the position of Senior Internal Audit Manager at BDO LLP from December 1999 to October 2019, where responsibilities included internal audit planning and stakeholder liaison. Simon started the career as Principal Internal Auditor at Thames Audit Consortium from January 1997 to December 1999. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Brighton, a CMIIA from the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors, and an IRMCert in Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management, completed in December 2021.
