Jason Altberger

Jason Altberger is Chief Financial Officer for Sage Hospitality and President of Sage Investments. In this role, Jason oversees all financial actions for the entire organization and leads Sage’s continued growth in the real estate investment market, targeting urban lifestyle hotels and developments that align with the company’s vision within the United States.

Jason joined Sage after 18 years in the New York City office of real estate private equity firm DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners where he spent the final eight years of his tenure as Managing Director. In this role, he was responsible for a range of assets and investment opportunities and served as an investment committee member for both the US and China funds. He held previous positions with real estate merchant bank Cheslock, Bakker & Associates, and the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse.

Jason is a licensed CPA and received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, magna cum laude, and an MBA from The Wharton School of Business with the highest distinction. He resides in the Denver area with his wife and three children and enjoys running in his spare time. Jason has been involved in various non-profit causes including serving for six years on the board of a charter school in New Jersey.
