Daryl Kreml has a diverse and extensive work experience. Daryl started their career as an Investigative Specialist at International Justice Mission, where they established relationships and conducted investigations in India and Bangladesh. Daryl also conducted field research in Mexico and co-authored a report titled "No Mercy".

Daryl then joined the Central Intelligence Agency as a Honors Attorney, where they worked for three years before transitioning to the legal field.

At Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP, Daryl served as a Compliance & Enforcement Attorney. Daryl crafted compliance programs for multiple leading companies and represented pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and other companies in high-profile matters involving government investigations, criminal and civil litigation. Daryl also specialized in risk mitigation in complex transactions.

Daryl joined Boston Scientific as a Director & Senior Managing Counsel, International Compliance. In this role, they were responsible for the ex-U.S. Compliance Program.

Daryl then moved to Biogen as the Head of U.S. Compliance & Global Program Management. Here, they transformed the company's compliance practices into a streamlined, global, and integrated program. Daryl brought together national leaders and functions around shared principles, key controls, and KPIs.

Currently, Daryl serves as the Vice-President and Chief Compliance Officer at Sage Therapeutics. Daryl played a vital role in building the company and launching transformative therapies. Daryl created an effective Compliance program from scratch and built a high-performing team.

Daryl Kreml has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, which was obtained from Olivet Nazarene University. Daryl attended the university from 1993 to 1997. In 1995, Daryl participated in the American Studies Program, where they studied Public Policy. Following this, Daryl enrolled at the State University of Nizhni Novgorod named after N.I. Lobachevsky (UNN) for a brief period in 1997. Daryl then pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at Harvard Law School, completing their studies from 1998 to 2001.
