Jeff Kasten

Jeff Kasten has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Jeff started their career at Bain & Company, where they held roles as a Financial Analyst, Associate Consultant, and Consultant. After that, they joined Putnam as a Manager and later became a Senior Manager. In 2007, Jeff joined Biogen Idec, where they served as the Associate Director/Director of New Product Commercialization, Director of Commercial Assessments & Disease Strategies, and finally as the Senior Director and Head of New Product Commercialization & RITUXAN Strategic Marketing. Since 2018, they have been working at Sage Therapeutics, initially as the Senior Director and Head of New Product Planning, then as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy, New Product Planning, and Portfolio & Product Management. Currently, Jeff holds the position of Vice President of Corporate Strategy & Business Development at Sage Therapeutics.

Jeff Kasten has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Finance, from the University of Vermont. Jeff obtained this degree from 1987 to 1991. Following that, they pursued further education at the MIT Sloan School of Management from 1997 to 1999 and achieved a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Strategic Management.
