Kurt K.

Kurt K. has over 30 years of work experience in the medical and academic fields. Kurt is currently working as a Senior Director in Medical Affairs at SAGE Therapeutics, a position they have held since April 2016. Before joining SAGE Therapeutics, they worked at Biogen for a total of 12 years in various roles. Their most recent role at Biogen was as a Sr. Director in Global Medical, from February 2014 to November 2015. Prior to that, they held the position of Director in Global Medical Affairs from September 2007 to February 2014, and an Associate Director in Global Medical Affairs from May 2004 to September 2007. Kurt K. also has experience in academia, having worked as an Assistant Professor at Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons from August 2002 to May 2004. Kurt also served as a Post-doctoral fellow at the same institution from July 2001 to August 2002. Kurt K. began their career as a Psychometrician at Baylor College of Medicine in September 1990, where they worked until July 1994.

Kurt K. began their education in 1986 at the University of Houston, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Kurt completed their undergraduate studies in 1990. Following this, Kurt K. went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Neuropsychology at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, starting in 1994 and completing their doctorate in 2001.
