Julie Cameron

Julie Cameron, SHRM-CP, has a diverse range of work experience. Julie is the Director of Human Resources at Sage Ventures since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Human Resources Manager at Sage Ventures from February 2020 to June 2021. Julie also worked as a Human Resources Generalist at Available in January and February 2020.

Before joining Sage Ventures and Available, Julie worked at Unlimited Restoration, Inc. Julie held the position of HR Manager starting from March 2018 until January 2020. During their time there, they were responsible for developing and implementing HR policies and goals, providing training and development opportunities for employees, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Prior to being promoted to HR Manager, Julie worked as a Team Coordinator from September 2015 to March 2018.

Julie's earlier experience includes roles such as Volunteer Coordinator at Abundant Life Church from June 2013 to July 2015, Financial Wellness Case Manager at Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake, Inc. from September 2010 to January 2012, Job Retention Specialist at Marian House from February 2010 to September 2010, Financial Educator and Coach as a self-employed individual from November 2009 to September 2010, Financial Education Coordinator at Seedco from March 2008 to November 2009, and Extension Educator at University of Maryland Cooperative Extension from March 2006 to January 2008.

Julie Cameron, SHRM-CP, has a diverse education history. Julie earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Education from Auburn University, graduating in 1997. In 2007, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix. Julie also pursued further education in the field of Business and Executive Coaching at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas, from 2009 to 2010. Prior to their studies at Auburn University, they attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Biology. In addition to their educational achievements, Julie obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in June 2019.
