Amit Chalam

Amit Chalam has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Amit is currently working as the SVP, Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Sagen since July 2023. Prior to that, they served as the National Service Line Leader for Governance, Risk and Compliance Services at KPMG Canada from October 2022 to June 2023. Before joining KPMG Canada, they worked as a Senior Manager at KPMG Canada from June 2014 to October 2019. Amit also gained valuable experience at KPMG US as a Senior Manager from July 2008 to June 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Associate at Exl Services from July 2007 to June 2008 and as an Audit Senior at KPMG India from September 2002 to May 2007.

Amit Chalam has a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Finance from Bangalore University, which they obtained from 2000 to 2003. Amit then pursued a degree in Chartered Accountancy from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, they possess a CPA, CA qualification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada).
