Tammy Strickland has extensive experience in human resources and payroll management. Tammy began their career in 1996 at Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, where they served as a Section Manager for HRIS. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing HRIS system administration, implementing software, automating HR functions, and developing and maintaining reporting programs. Tammy also supervised personnel changes, trained department personnel, and created organizational charts.
In 2006, Tammy joined Penloyd as an Analyst for HRIS, where they acted as a liaison between HR, Payroll, and IT departments. Tammy evaluated and maintained HRIS systems, assessed technology utilization, and aligned them with departmental needs and goals.
Tammy then joined SemGroup Corporation in 2008, initially as a Business Process Analyst for HR/Payroll. Tammy later took on roles as a Payroll Supervisor and Manager for Payroll, HRIS, and Benefits. In these positions, they provided leadership to payroll and benefits teams in the United States and Canada, partnered with senior management to create value for the company and employees, and ensured compliance with federal and state laws.
Most recently, Tammy worked at Omni Air International (OAI) as a Payroll Manager. Tammy oversaw the payroll function for all employees, ensured compliance with taxation and wage laws, and coordinated payroll accounting and regulatory reporting.
Tammy currently holds the position of Manager, Benefits and Compensation at SageNet, a role they started in 2022.
Tammy Strickland completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Business from St. Gregorys University in the years 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained an Associates degree in Business Administration from Tulsa Community College between 1989 and 1998.
