James R. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. James is currently the Director of Risk and Change Management at Sagent since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked at TD for 8 years, holding multiple positions including VP, Senior Manager, and VP, Servicing and Collections Product Strategy Manager. James also served as VP, Business Process Manager in both Loss Mitigation and Foreclosure departments. Before joining TD, James worked as a Loan Officer/Asset Manager at Atlantic National Trust LLC from 2009 to 2013. James also held the position of Vice President at Kennebec Title Company in 2006 and worked as the Owner of Ross Settlement Services in 2005. James began their career as a Paralegal/Closer at Ginn Title Group in 2004 and worked as a Personal Financial Advisor at American Express Financial Advisors from 2003 to 2004.

James R. has a diverse education history. In 1999, they attended Saint Joseph's College and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business in 2003. Following this, they pursued a Juris Doctor degree in Law from the University of Maine School of Law, completing their studies from 2007 to 2010. Recently, in 2022, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in FinTech from Cornell University. In addition to their academic qualifications, James R. also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification, which they obtained from TD in September 2014.
