Russ Thompson

Russ Thompson is a seasoned DevSecOps professional with extensive experience in security engineering and infrastructure management. Currently serving as the Director of DevSecOps at Sagent since April 2023, Russ oversees the DevSecOps and application security functions. Previous roles include freelance security engineering consulting, Head of DevOps & Security at Sitka, and Principal DevSecOps Engineer at Tabula Rasa HealthCare, where Russ implemented continuous security practices in multi-cloud environments. A proven leader in transitioning organizations to DevOps methodologies, Russ has a strong background in cloud security, compliance automation, and integrating security within the software development lifecycle. Educationally, Russ holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Information Systems from Camden County College.
