Denise Atherley has a diverse work experience. Denise started their career in 2009 as a Sales Associate at Macy's and later worked as a Sales Associate at The North Face. In 2012, they worked as a Call Center Representative at NYC 311, providing customer service and assisting callers with inquiries.
Denise also worked at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. in 2012 as a Youth Advocate, where they worked with at-risk youth and their probation officers to guide them towards positive resources and activities.
Denise joined SAGE in 2013 and held various roles over the years. Denise started as an Administrative Assistant of Constituent Services, where they provided data entry and administrative support. Denise then became the Executive Assistant of Programs and Care Management, providing executive support and creating systems for database maintenance.
In 2016, Denise became a Salesforce Administrator at SAGE, leading the data infrastructure initiative and configuring the Salesforce CRM. Denise also established integrations with third-party tools to enhance functionality. In 2018, they took on the role of Director of Data Strategy Initiatives, contributing to the organization's data strategy.
Denise Atherley completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from Lehman College between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they attended Aquinas High School from 2005 to 2009, where they earned an Advanced Regents Diploma in College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program.
Additionally, Denise holds two additional certifications. In December 2017, they obtained the Salesforce Certified Administrator certification from Salesforce. In June 2023, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals.
