Jennifer Burrell

Jennifer Burrell has a solid work experience in the healthcare industry. Jennifer started their career at HCA Healthcare in 2017 as an Infection Control Practitioner and worked there until January 2020. Following that, they joined OrthoColorado Hospital as an Infection Prevention Manager from January 2020 to October 2020. Currently, Jennifer is employed at SageWest Health Care, where they hold the positions of System Infection Preventionist and System Director of Risk Management, starting in October 2020 and June 2022 respectively.

Jennifer Burrell has a diverse education history. Jennifer earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, with a major in Biology, from Oakland University, where they studied from 2004 to 2010. Jennifer then pursued their Bachelor's degree in Integrative Therapeutic Practices at Metropolitan State University of Denver from 2010 to 2013.

Following their undergraduate studies, Jennifer pursued a Master's degree in Health Services, with a concentration in Allied Health and Health Sciences, General, at Trinity School of Medicine. Jennifer successfully completed this program from 2013 to 2016.

In 2017, Jennifer attended the University of South Florida, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Infection Control. This program focused on the field of Infection Control and spanned from 2017 to 2018.

Additionally, Jennifer holds the certification of Certified in Infection Control (CIC), which they received from the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, Inc. in July 2018.

Currently, Jennifer is enrolled at Western Governors University, where they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration and Management. Jennifer is set to complete this program from 2022 to 2023.
