Alvaro Balañá

Alvaro Balañá has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Alvaro is currently the Vice President of Client Solutions - Market Insight & Public Policy at Sago, a position they have held since December 2021. Before that, from 2010 to 2021, they were the CEO and Founder of Outstandard Technologies. Prior to that, Alvaro founded Impact Mastering Labs in 2000 and served as the Chief Mastering Engineer until 2021. Alvaro also worked as the International Research Director at Block de Ideas S.L. from 2000 to 2010 and as an Audio Mastering and Production Engineer at Gateway Mastering & DVD from 1999 to 2000.

Alvaro Balañá completed a B.A. in Music Production & Engineering from Berklee College of Music, which they attended from 1996 to 1999. In 1999, they pursued further education at Harvard University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering.
