Senior Vice President, APAC at Sago

Imran Khan's work experience includes serving as the Senior Vice President, APAC at Sago, where they led the company's growth strategy in the Asia-Pacific Region and internationally. Imran provided expertise in consumer insights and brand positioning through qualitative and quantitative market research. Imran also co-founded the Pearson-Khan Award for Women's Empowerment, which recognizes young Muslim women who have overcome barriers to empower women in their community.

Prior to that, Imran was the Co-Founder and CEO of Addison Research, an agency that focused on market research and consumer insights in APAC. Imran also established a nearshore office to provide multilingual support to clients across the US. Before their entrepreneurial endeavors, Imran worked as a Senior Policy Advisor and Diversity Lead at the Ontario Public Service, where they led policy development and data analysis for private career colleges. Imran also served as a Senior Program Analyst at the Ministry of Community and Social Services, leading projects and supporting investments in development services.

Imran's earlier experience includes working for the Government of Canada as a Business & Marketing Representative, where they promoted the government's transition to electronic record-keeping systems. Imran also worked as a Project Manager at the University of Toronto, where they developed student life programs, including mentorship initiatives and support for first-generation students.

Imran Khan's education history begins with their Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A. Hons.) from the University of Toronto Scarborough, which they obtained from 2007 to 2011. Imran specialized in Political Science and also pursued a minor in Psychology during this time. Following their undergraduate studies, Imran Khan attended the University of Toronto in 2011 for a Certificate in Project Management, which they completed in 2012. In the same year, they enrolled at Ryerson University to pursue a Master of Arts degree (M.A.) in Immigration & Settlement Studies, which they completed in 2013. Most recently, Imran Khan has been pursuing a Master of Business Administration (Executive MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Oxford, with an expected completion in 2025.
