Shibaji Roy

Shibaji Roy is a Senior Professor at the Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, a position held since August 1997. Prior to this role, Shibaji Roy worked as a Post-Doctoral researcher at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela from February 1995 to January 1997, the University of Groningen from October 1993 to January 1995, and the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) from October 1991 to September 1993. Shibaji Roy earned a Ph.D. in High Energy Physics from the University of Rochester between 1984 and 1991, an MSc in Physics from Calcutta University, Kolkata from 1981 to 1983, and a BSc in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry from Presidency University, Kolkata from 1978 to 1981. Early education was completed at Hindu School.
