RAO VIRENDRA SINGH has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. RAO VIRENDRA most recently served as the GM of Sahara Samay, a position they began in April 2020. Prior to that, they held the role of Head of Sahara New Media at SAMAY NEWS NETWORK starting in June 2018.

Singh's previous experience includes Channel Head and Producer roles at Sahara News Network from 2000 to 2015. RAO VIRENDRA also worked as a Producer at Asian News International (ANI) from November 1999 to May 2000.

Before joining ANI, Singh worked as a Producer at TVI (BITV) News & Views TV arm of Business India Group from 1994 to 1999. RAO VIRENDRA started their career in the media industry as a Sub Editor at Amar Ujala Publications Ltd in October 1993. Prior to that, they worked as a Reporter at The Patriot-News from June 1993 to September 1993, and as a Reporter at AMRITA BAZAR PATRIKA PVT LTD from January 1993 to June 1993.

Rao Virendra Singh pursued their education in a chronological order. RAO VIRENDRA obtained a Bachelor's degree in HISTORY, PHILOSOPHY, and POLITICAL SCIENCE from the University of Allahabad between 1982 and 1985. Prior to that, from 1980 to 1982, they attended LUCKNOW CHRISTIAN COLLEGE and completed their 10+2 education, specializing in MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS, and CHEMISTRY. Later, they went on to pursue a Master's degree in Medieval History from the University of Allahabad, where they studied from 1985 to 1987.
