Adesewa Stephanie Oniye

Adesewa Stephanie Oniye is an experienced veterinary professional currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of Abuja since November 2023. In addition to this role, Oniye has been an Artificial Insemination Technician since June 2021 with Sahel Consulting, contributing to a Bill and Melinda Gates-funded project focused on dairy development in Nigeria. Previous positions include Park Warden/Veterinarian at the National Park Service and Veterinary Officer for the Federal Capital Territory Administration, where responsibilities included animal health inspections and disease management. Oniye also gained hands-on experience as a Veterinary Medical Intern at Ahmadu Bello University and worked as an Assistant Coordinator at the African Centre of Excellence for Neglected Tropical Diseases and Forensic Biotechnology. Oniye holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ahmadu Bello University, obtained in 2020.
