Riikka Friman

Riikka Friman has a diverse professional background in communications, marketing, and customer service. Riikka is currently serving as the Director of Communications, Marketing, and Customer Service at Sähkö- ja teleurakoitsijaliitto STUL ry since August 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Marketing Officer at Reaktor from September 2021 to August 2023. Riikka also has experience as a Board Member at Medigoo Inc. from March 2019 to September 2021. Additionally, Riikka worked as the VP of digital and growth marketing at F-Secure Corporation from October 2018 to September 2021. Riikka served as the Director, Head of group branding, marketing, and digital communications at SSAB from September 2014 to September 2018. Riikka also has experience at Ruukki as the Director of Brand Management, Marketing, and Digital Marketing & Communications from February 2011 to August 2014. Prior to that, they worked at Finpro as part of the Brand Management, Communications, Marketing & Sales team from April 2009 to February 2011. Riikka has experience in brand management, marketing, and communications at Kemira from August 2006 to March 2009. Riikka started their career at Nokia in February 1998, where they worked in marketing and communications until July 2006.

Riikka Friman holds an MBA degree in Business Administration and Management from Aalto University, which was obtained from 2000 to 2002. Riikka also earned an MSSc degree from the University of Helsinki, completed from 1991 to 1997. Additionally, they participated in an EU program at Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1996. In 2019, Riikka completed a program at the Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce, becoming a Hyväksytty Hallituksen Jäsen (Accepted Board Member). Riikka has further certifications, including HHJ - Hyväksytty Hallituksen Jäsen from Tampereen kauppakamari and ABM Certification: Foundations from Demandbase, both obtained in 2020.
