Alexandra Bassett

Alexandra Bassett is an experienced professional in philanthropy and the performing arts, currently serving as the Philanthropy Manager for Operations & Campaigns at SAHMRI since February 2023, where responsibilities include managing individual giving programs and fundraising campaigns for health and medical research. As Director of Alex and the Babes, an all-women improv troupe, Alexandra oversees productions for the Adelaide Fringe and Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festivals. Previous roles include Foundation Manager at Burnside War Memorial Hospital, Planned Giving Officer at the University of Adelaide, and various positions in arts organizations such as the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and Biennale of Sydney. Alexandra holds a Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Arts (Hons Class 1) from UNSW, with a focus on Film Studies and Music Composition.
