Ben Lewis

Ben Lewis is an experienced science communicator and editor currently serving as the Science Editor at SAHMRI since October 2020. With a robust background in content development and science storytelling at the Royal Institution of Australia from 2010 to 2020, Ben has led initiatives such as Australia's Science Channel and engaged with prominent scientists including Brian Cox and Neil deGrasse Tyson. Ben's expertise extends to science communication education, having tutored students at the University of South Australia, and previous roles include media officer at the Australian Science Media Centre and a PhD candidate focused on skin cancer biology. Ben holds a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of South Australia and a Graduate Diploma in Communication from Deakin University.
