Ryan O'Hare Doig

Head, Spinal Cord Injury Research at SAHMRI

Ryan O'Hare Doig is an accomplished imaging scientist and research radiographer currently serving as a NIF Fellow at the National Imaging Facility since June 2022. In this role, Ryan provides expertise in biomedical imaging across various projects and manages advanced imaging equipment at the South Australian Health & Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI). Concurrently, Ryan holds positions as a Senior Adjunct Lecturer and Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Adelaide and has been the Head of Spinal Cord Injury Research at SAHMRI since January 2017, focusing on advanced imaging techniques for spinal cord injuries. Ryan's extensive research background includes roles as a postdoctoral research fellow, project manager, and lecturer at The University of Western Australia, supporting multiple neuroscience courses. Ryan's educational credentials include a PhD in Neuroscience and Physiology, First Class Honours, and a Bachelor of Neuroscience, all from The University of Western Australia.
