Tuneer Ghosh

Tuneer Ghosh is the SVP & Head of CMC Business Development at SAI Life Sciences. Tuneer has over 15 years of experience in the mining and pharmaceutical industries.

Ghosh started their career as a business partner and head of operations at Ecologic Technologies Pvt. ltd., a company that develops and manufactures intermediates and active ingredients for pharmaceutical industries by adhering to principles of green chemistry and engineering. Tuneer was responsible for heading the Technical Operations in totality, starting from Development to Commercialization.

In 2008, Ghosh joined Chemaf S.P.R.L as the COO. Tuneer was responsible for heading the operations which consist of the mine, production plants, Engineering, Quality control, Research & Development, Supply Chain and Projects. During their time with the company, they were instrumental in turning around the company amidst the global meltdown by strategizing and implementing strong cost control measures to drastically cut down the operating costs. Tuneer successfully completed a bankable feasibility report for a Copper-Cobalt project along with a Life-of-mine study, in compliance with JORC standards.

Ghosh has been with SAI Life Sciences since 2013. In their current role, they are responsible for leading the CMC Business Development team. Under their leadership, the team has successfully launched over 50 products in the US market.

Tuneer Ghosh has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University. Tuneer also has a Higher Secondary in Science and Mathematics from South Point High School. Tuneer has certification from TQMI in ISO auditor certification and from Progressive Ventures in Certification on PMBOK.
