Vasanthamurugesh A is the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing at SAI Life Sciences. Vasanthamurugesh has over 10 years of experience in heading manufacturing operations for various companies.

Vasanthamurugesh started their career with Piramal Healthcare Ltd in Hyderabad as the General Manager of Technical Services. In this role, they were responsible for API generics and CRAMS new product scale up. Vasanthamurugesh successfully executed 12 product validations and gained experience in handling various reaction chemistries. Vasanthamurugesh also prepared technical documents for "Request for Proposal" for submitting quotes to various top pharma companies as a part of CRAMS business.

In 2011, they joined OmniActive Health Technologies as the Vice President of Manufacturing. In this role, they were responsible for heading the manufacturing operations which included plant operations to meet budgeted production, driving new product scale up & commercialisation, steering process improvement and cost reduction programmes, leading new facility creation projects, enhancing EHS as a part of work culture, team building & training, etc.

Vasanthamurugesh has been with SAI Life Sciences since July 2014 and is currently heading the manufacturing operations as the Senior Vice President.

Vasanthamurugesh A has a diploma in safety in chemical industries from Annamalai University, a PG diploma in business administration from Annamalai University, and a B.E in chemical engineering from Annamalai University. Vasanthamurugesh also has an HSC from St Gabriel's Higher Secondary School.

Vasanthamurugesh A reports to Krishna Kanumuri, MD & CEO. They are on a team with Sarma Bugga - SVP, Discovery, Tuneer Ghosh - SVP & Head, CMC Business Development, and Siva Chittor - Chief Financial Officer.
