Sam Gachupin

Sam Gachupin is a seasoned professional in systems engineering and risk management with extensive experience in both the military and civilian sectors. Currently serving as the Systems Engineer Governance & Plans Manager at SAIC, Sam engages in governance development and product acquisition planning. Previous roles include systems engineering support for the Army's Next Generation Main Battle Tank capabilities and enterprise risk management for the National Reconnaissance Office, where strategic risk strategies were developed for national security systems. Sam's career also includes substantial program management experience with the U.S. Army TACOM, notably overseeing training systems for the Abrams Main Battle Tank and leading logistics and engineering data management efforts. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Program Management from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior University.
