Rachel Barek has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Rachel is currently the CEO & Co-Founder of Said Differently since January 2020. Rachel is also a Member of the Forbes Business Council from May 2023. Additionally, they serve as a Board Member at SMYAL starting from January 2024. Rachel has also held positions as a Strategic Advisor & Investor at Talamo (starting from October 2023) and NextDay (starting from January 2022). Prior to their current roles, Rachel worked at AKQA as the Managing Director (2017-2019), General Manager (2015-2017), Director of Client Services (2011-2015), and Sr. Account Director (2010-2011). Rachel was an Engagement Director at Organic from 2008 to 2010. Earlier in their career, Rachel held positions at JWT as an Account Director in 2007, Digitas as a Marketing Manager from 2005 to 2007, and Brooklyn College as the Director of the Annual Fund & Adjunct Professor from 2003 to 2005.
Rachel Barek completed their BA in Philosophy at Hamilton College. Following that, they pursued their MPA in Management at New York University from 2000 to 2003.
