Gemma Benedet Barja

Gemma Benedet Barja has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gemma started their career in 1998 as a Telesales representative at UPS, where they managed a portfolio of small accounts and worked on client development and acquisition. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Beauty Sales Technician at Institute Esthederm, providing training to new beauty centers and updating existing ones.

In 2006, Gemma joined Sephora as a Makeup Artist and Team Leader. Gemma was responsible for managing teams, handling stock, and organizing events across various sales points. Gemma worked in this role until 2014.

From 2014 to 2016, they worked at Nike as a Customer Satisfaction Coach at their flagship store in Barcelona. Gemma supervised teams of up to 15 people and contributed to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

In 2019, Gemma became the Assistant Store Manager at Perfumeria Julia, a position they held until 2023. During this time, they played a key role in store operations and management.

Most recently, Gemma has been working as a Senior Store Manager at Saigu Cosmetics since February 2023. This leadership position allows their to utilize their extensive experience in the cosmetics industry.

In addition to their professional roles, Gemma has also worked as a freelance makeup artist specializing in bridal makeup since 2016.

Gemma Benedet Barja pursued their education in a chronological manner, starting with their completion of EGB-BUP at Asunción de Nuestra Sra. School from 1980 to 1993. Following that, they attended Montserrat Fajardo School from 2000 to 2002, where they obtained a degree in Professional Makeup Artistry. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they enrolled in the IL3-UB y EAE, where they completed the Programa Superior en Dirección de Marketing y Ventas (Advanced Program in Marketing and Sales). Throughout their educational journey, Gemma focused primarily on fields such as marketing, sales, and makeup artistry.
