Patrick Sangster is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in environmental health and safety, as well as youth training and development. As the Owner of Eastern Passage Safety & Training Services since February 2019, Patrick also serves as an Environmental Health & Safety Officer with Defence Research and Development Canada since October 2018. With a long-standing role as a Sailing Instructor and Learning Facilitator for Sail Canada since 2009, Patrick promotes safe sailing practices and mentors new instructors. Previous positions include Safety Advisor at Dexter Construction, Staff Officer at Regional Cadet Support Unit (Atlantic), and Commanding Officer at the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps, St. Margaret's Bay. Patrick holds a Certificate with Honours in Occupational Health & Safety from Nova Scotia Community College and completed the Firefighter Pre-Employment Program at Nova Scotia Firefighters School.
