Catalina Rubiano

Catalina Rubiano is a Hydrographic Surveyor at Saildrone Inc since June 2023, previously serving as a Bathymetry Intern. Rubiano is a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of South Florida, where marine sciences are pursued for a Master of Science degree. Past roles include Navigator/Mapper for Ocean Exploration Trust and Explorer-in-Training with NOAA. Catalina has also contributed as a Marine Education Assistant at LUMCON and as an Assistant Coach for high school soccer at Louise S. McGehee School. Additionally, Catalina was an NCAA Division 1 Athlete at Louisiana State University, where a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Environmental Science were completed.
