Matthew Atkinson

Matthew Atkinson is a legal professional with extensive experience in risk and claims management. Currently serving as the Risk & Claims Strategy Manager at Sainsbury's since September 2023, Matthew previously held senior legal positions at Keoghs and Clyde & Co. Prior to these roles, Matthew spent over a decade at BLM as an Associate Solicitor, specializing in casualty claims related to employer's liability, public liability, product liability, and workplace diseases. Matthew holds a Law degree from Liverpool John Moores University and a Legal Practice Course qualification from The University of Law.
