Senior designer at Saint And Sofia

Maartje Peeters has an extensive background in the fashion industry. Maartje is currently working as a Senior Designer at Saint And Sofia since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at HUGO BOSS as a Team Lead Designer for Boss Womenswear from April 2022 to November 2022. Before HUGO BOSS, they had a role as a Senior Fashion Designer 3D at Scotch & Soda from February 2021 to April 2022. Maartje also held the position of Fashion Designer at Scotch & Soda from December 2018 to April 2022, where they were responsible for all soft suitings/wovens in the collection and handled technical perspectives.

Earlier in their career, Maartje worked as a Fashion Designer at Blood For Mercy from November 2017 to December 2018, where they had similar responsibilities as the Head of Design at Oyster Culture. At Oyster Culture, they served as the Head of Design and Brand Manager from November 2017 to December 2018, leading the design team and building ready-to-wear labels for musicians and artists.

Maartje's previous experiences also include working as a Junior Fashion Designer and Print Designer at gsus from August 2016 to November 2017, where they supported the design team and created various artworks. Maartje started their career as a Fashion Designer at Stichting MOAM from February 2015 to July 2015, collaborating with other designers and getting guidance from renowned fashion designers. Maartje also worked as an Assistant Fashion Designer at Boris Bidjan Saberi from February 2014 to July 2014, assisting with various tasks in the product development process.

Additionally, Maartje gained valuable experience as a Fashion Designer at iNDiViDUALS at AMFI from February 2013 to July 2013, where they had the opportunity to run a fashion brand for a semester in collaboration with fellow students and showcased their collection at Amsterdam Fashion Week.

Maartje Peeters pursued their education with a focus on fashion and apparel design. Maartje began their academic journey at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute, where they completed their pre-university education from 2008 to 2010. Following that, they attended the same institute to obtain their Bachelor's Degree in Fashion & Apparel Design from 2010 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Maartje Peeters also obtained certifications in the field. In December 2021, they completed the VStitcher 201 Foundations course at Browzwear, earning a Certificate of Completion. Prior to that, in June 2021, they achieved a Certificate of Completion in VStitcher 101 from the same institution.
