Christy Shawan is Vice President – Saint Francis Medical Partners Operations – Southwest.
Shawan joined Saint Francis in March 2019. In this role, Shawan provides administrative management for Saint Francis Health Center – Poplar Bluff, Poplar Bluff Pediatrics, Black River Ambulatory Surgery Center, Poplar Bluff Neurology Specialists, Piedmont Physician Associates, Physicians Park General Surgery, Kneibert Clinic, Physicians Park Primary Care and Saint Francis Health Center – Dexter. She provides subject matter expertise and oversight to Outpatient Imaging Center – Poplar Bluff and Physicians Park Lab.
She most recently served as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Black River Medical Center. Prior to that, she was a Senior Account Executive at Accenture Management Consulting.
Shawan earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from University of Missouri – Rolla. She is affiliated with American Hospital Association, Missouri Hospital Association, Institute of Industrial Engineers and numerous community affiliations. She serves on the Advisory Board and Auction Committee for Whole Kids Outreach and also serves on the United Cancer Assistance Network Board.
